What Is Senior Living Like Today in 2020?
For years, each Spring and Fall Choice Connections has put on Senior Tour of Homes Events around the Twin Cities. We’d take a bus full of people to visit different types of senior living. It was a great way for people to actually see what Senior Living is like today. Currently, due to COVID most senior living options are not allowing in person tours. Needless to say, putting on a Senior Tour of Homes as we’ve typically done was not going to work.
Introducing a Virtual Senior Tour of Homes
So, we’ve pivoted. This Thursday the 15th a noon we are putting on a Virtual Senior Tour of Homes via ZOOM. This event will be condensed into an hour but will showcase 6 different options. It will discuss how options are coping with the pandemic. It is a effective way to learn about costs and types of services and care even if a move is not planned for yourself or a loved one for a while.
