Age Friendly Minnesota

Gov. Walz has been in the news lately for negative things that have occurred in our state. Did you know in December of 2019 he gave an executive order to make Minnesota Age Friendly?

The charge of the committee is:

Coordination of public and private sector age-friendly Minnesota actions to address shared priorities developed with and for older adults.

Preliminary recommendations are due to the Governor by August 2020.

The council would like to get your input prior to their next meeting on June 24. please take the AARP survey found at this link.  It is a fairly lengthy survey.  Plan on 20-25 minutes to complete.
