Certified Senior Advisors Have a Heart for Seniors
CSAs especially love working with seniors. That is why they are called Senior Advisors. And, they prefer to work with that part of the population.
Do you know a Certified Senior Advisor?
If you have worked with Choice Connections in the past than you do know a Certified Senior Advisor. Each person that works with Choice Connections has that designation.
It’s possible that in working with Choice Connections, we may have referred you to another CSA. There are a number of us in different areas of expertise in the Twin Cities. Common referrals are for real estate or funeral pre-planning for example.
Actually, there are over 4000 Certified Senior Advisors in the United States. And, each one is a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. CSAs are united in their effort to protect the welfare of seniors and provide high quality products and services to the aging population. A Certified Senior Advsior is bound by a Code of Professional Responsibility.
CSAs are required to continue their learning and annually pay a membership fee. To maintain their designation, 30 Continuing Education Credits must be submited every three years. Three of those CEs need to be in Ethics. By requiring this, it helps ensure that we are keeping up to date with all that is changing in the area of aging.
Out of State Referrals
With the large network of CSAs, our clients benefit when we can connet them to a CSA for family out of state, Recently, a client of mine as a snowbird called from FL and wanted help with her loved one. In just a short time, a CSA called her and helped her get connected to resources that was greatly appreciated.
