Twin Cities Honor Flight Network
With Memorial Day coming up later this month, we think of those that served our country. Most important are to show respect and honor for those that paid the ultimate sacrifice with their life.
Tell a Veteran You Know
If you have a loved one that served in World War II or the Korean War do they know about the honor flight?
Many Veterans From MN Have Made the Trip
Since 2005 Honor Flight Network has transported Veterans from across the USA to Washington DC. The program has over 100 Hubs in over 42 states.
As of May 2022 Honor Flight Twin Cities has taken over 2075 WWII Men and Women Veterans to see their Memorials. Each Sun Country Airline flight has 80 WWII Veterans and 82 Guardians. We will continue to take WWII Veterans to Washington DC until we cannot fill a Sun Country Charter flight with our heroes. The youngest WWII veteran is now over 90.
