You Can Trust They Have Your Best Interest at Heart
By Eunice K. Neubauer, CSA ®, Founding Owner
Did you know there is a designation for those that love to work with older adults or seniors? When I started my business, I was familiar with many designations coming from the financial industry. I had not heard of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. The Certified Senior Advisor (CSA®) designation was a requirement when I opened the Choice Connections office in the Twin Cities. This course was outstanding and the exam was difficult but rewarding.
There are Certified Senior Advisors in various fields like finance, home care, real estate etc. To obtain a CSA designation it takes hours of study and continuing education. A background check is required upon being certified and every three years when renewal is due. Completion of an ethics course is an additional requirement. People who have this designation keep current on important information impacting older adults. CSAs truly enjoy working with seniors.
What are the benefits to you:
- CSAs know a little bit about all things aging and can make recommendations
- We share important information we learn from the ongoing training we receive from webinars and the CSA Journal, Senior Spirit (newsletter) and other courses available
- CSAs are background checked, have high ethics and will always have your best interest in mind
- We have access to materials and presentations provided by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. Ask us about presenting if you are looking for a speaker.
- We can refer our client’s family and friends to other CSAs with a different focus or to CSAs doing what we do in different states.
Follow our Facebook page as we often share articles from the monthly Senior Spirit newsletter.
